Traumatic Brain Injury

The Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Waiver helps people who are living with a Traumatic Brain Injury get care and services to live independently. While we typically think of an accident that can lead to Brain Injury, these injuries can also be caused by the effects of a medical incident like stroke, heart attack or overdose. People can be classified with a TBI through an injury to the brain like gunshot, concussion or whiplash, but also from an acquired brain injury from a stroke, aneurysm, or anoxia. People who survive a brain injury will need ongoing care. We can help you get access to the services you need and make choices to help yourself or a loved one.
